Emily Daskas is a third-generation Classical Pilates instructor, GYROTONIC® instructor, and lifelong dancer. Trained in a highly competitive dance environment by some of the industry’s best and certified under Sharmila Mitra of Core Arts Pilates, she uses Classical Pilates to help dancers build strength, refine technique, prevent injury, and sustain long, healthy careers.
Out of a deep love for dance and personal commitment to dancer wellness, Emily founded The Em Effect: an online Pilates-for-dancers studio committed to keeping dancers dancing.
